As the year draws to a close, we find ourselves reflecting with gratitude on the many people and moments that have shaped our firm’s journey. This season also brings significant milestones that mark both continuity and change in our story.
First, beginning January 2026, our firm will return to its original name — Flicker Kerin, LLP. This rebrand honors our roots while looking forward to the future, reaffirming the values that have guided us for five decades: integrity, excellence, and an unwavering commitment to our clients. Our team, culture, and dedication remain as strong as ever, and we are excited to enter the new year under a name that reflects our enduring legacy.
We also share a heartfelt farewell to our friend and colleague, Michèle Bissada, who, after nearly 25 incredible years, will be embarking on a new chapter in her career. Michèle will be joining Signature Resolution Group, LLC as a Family Law Mediator and Private Judge in the Silicon Valley office. With 30 years of experience litigating complex Family Law matters, including private equity and venture capital, Michèle will use this extensive experience in Silicon Valley start-up and venture capital cases in her neutral practice at Signature Resolution. Michèle will be an outstanding addition to the Signature Resolution panel of neutrals — a prestigious and well-earned role that speaks to her extraordinary leadership, talent, and pioneering spirit.
As one of our named principals, Michèle has been a mentor and visionary who helped shape our firm’s culture and inspire its growth. Her dedication, wisdom, and generosity have left an indelible mark on us all. While we will deeply miss her daily presence, we take pride in her achievements and are confident she will continue to make a powerful impact in her new role.
