Catherine Kinkel is a Post Bar Law Clerk at Flicker Kerin, LLP. She is passionate about family law and is committed to providing thoughtful, and compassionate representation to clients as they face important family transitions. Ms. Kinkel looks forward to transitioning to Associate upon receipt of her bar results.
Ms. Kinkel earned her Juris Doctor from UC Law, San Francisco in 2025. During law school she was a member of the Family Law Student Association, Women’s Law Society, and Health Law and Policy Society. Prior to law school, Ms. Kinkel attended the University of Arizona where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Philosophy Politics Economics and Law (PPEL), and a minor in Economics. At the University of Arizona, Ms. Kinkel volunteered for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA), an organization dedicated to supporting and promoting court advocates for abused and neglected children. This powerful experience led her to pursue family law.
Before joining Flicker Kerin, LLP, Ms. Kinkel served as a legal intern at an estate planning firm and a law clerk at a family law firm. During this time, she developed a strong foundation in family law and estate planning, gaining hands-on experience in legal research, drafting legal documents, and supporting attorneys in complex case management. Her work in these areas equipped her with practical knowledge and valuable insight that she brings to her current role.
In her free time, Ms. Kinkel enjoys cooking/baking, going on long walks with her dog, attending concerts, and exploring San Francisco neighborhoods.
